About Us

Jason Kingsland is 20 plus year veteran producer/mixer/engineer. Having worked with Band of Horses, Bryan Ferry, Deerhunter, Belle and Sebastian, Youth Lagoon, Carl Broemel (My Morning Jacket), Rachel Eckroth (St. Vincent) in world class studios to home studios, Jason has developed a particular sense of equipment efficacy reflected in Garbage Ideas products.

Vic Fischer, a lifelong electronics tinkerer handles some of the more technical side of Garbage Ideas. He began building effects circuits as a young teenager, then moved on to repairing tape machine, consoles, and other studio gear in his late adolescence. After relocating to Athens, GA for college, he met Jason, and they soon began scheming on ideas that would lay the foundation of Garbage Ideas.
